Overhead Lifts/Transfers
Often the biggest barrier to keeping loved ones at home, is the challenge of lifting and transferring them from the wheelchair to the bed, toilet, tub or favorite chair in the living room. Safety for the loved one as well as the caregiver becomes crucial with every physical transfer. Even a child that cannot speak can feel the fear of the parent wondering if this is time the back gives out or the child slips from their arms. Consider the frail spouse struggling to assist with the transfer or the hired caregiver that calls in to say, "I can't come anymore, because I've injured my back!". Thankfully, there is a solution that works and brings safety, freedom and joy back to caregiving!
Overhead track (ceiling lift systems) can be installed in most every home, no matter what type of ceiling. Single Rail Systems
Single rail systems can be put into one room or multiple rooms. Usually this is the most economical means of transferring from bed to wheelchair.
